Malcolm X Assassination
Malcolm X was an African American Muslim minister and a human rights activist. He advocated for the civil rights of blacks. He did not promote peaceful protests, but more of violence. He was considered one of the most influential African Americans. Malcolm X was assassinated on February 21, 1965 as he was preparing to address the Organization of Afro-American Unity. Many African Americans went up in rage from this event. He was one of the most important civil rights leaders during the civil rights movement. African Americans did not lose hope after this incident and kept on fighting for civil rights.
