Montgomery Bus Boycott
The Montgomery Bus Boycott was an event where no African Americans rode the buses. The event lasted from December 1, 1955 to December 20, 1956. The city had little income coming into the city because nobody rode the buses. It was a great win for African Americans as the buses were not segregated anymore.
